DECISION MADE TO REWRITE ENTIRE "OAKWOOD CHRONICLES"

My Dearest Readers,

I am writing to you today with a heart full of nervous excitement and a mind buzzing with the whispers of ancient oaks and bygone paths. You see, I’ve made a decision — one that feels both monumental and utterly necessary.

I am rewriting The Oakwood Chronicles.

It began as a simple reread, a nostalgic journey back to the story I first built from ink and imagination. Yet as I walked those familiar sites alongside Cassandra and Callen once more, I heard it: the quiet, persistent hum of a story not yet fully told. The foundations were strong, the heart was true, but the roots… the roots wanted to dig deeper. The canopy wanted to spread wider.

Therefore, I have taken a step back into the grove. The series you know, those four volumes that held our adventures, will be lovingly unbound and rewoven. From four books, the chronicle will expand to eight. This is not merely a splitting of pages, but an expansion of soul. It is a chance to linger in the glens we raced past, to know the side characters as if they were our own neighbours, to understand the Ancient Magic of Oakwood not as a plot device, but as a living, breathing character in itself.

You will find new chapters nestled between old favourites. You will discover hidden histories of the Hyperion Star System and secret motives behind familiar smiles. The love, the loss, the battle for light against the creeping gloom — it will all remain, yet it will be rendered in richer detail, with more texture, more breath, more life.

And yes, as you may have glimpsed, there will be new covers. I am working to capture this new, deeper vision — not to erase the old, yet to reflect the growth. Think of it as the same forest, but seen in a different season, under a different light.

I know this may seem like a daunting prospect. To revisit a story is a sacred trust, and I do not take it lightly. However, not many of yous read the originals. I can only promise you that this is being done with the utmost love and respect for the world we built together and for you, the readers who gave it a home in your minds and hearts.

This will be a journey we take together, once more from the beginning. I will be sharing snippets, sketches, and whispers from the rewriting process as I walk this path. Your patience and your faith mean everything.

The roots are stirring. The story is calling. And I must follow.
